My love for baseball first drew me to cards. In 1988 my dad, Dave, purchased my first pack of cards for me. My brother, dad and myself went to shows all the time, and the drive to build sets made me love collecting even more.
I am an avid set builder. I have sets from 1955 to the present. The hunt is what I love! I currently build, sort and fill sets with my son David. My daughter Maja has really enjoyed collecting and selling her Pokemon cards. As a farmer and a parent, I need a release nowadays, so I really enjoy the relaxation of collecting.
I love cards, and there is no better feeling than to help another collector finish their set. I hope we get the chance to fill your want lists!

I started collecting cards back in the early 70s. At that time most cards were actually traded without assessing their monetary value. The goal back then for me was to find my favorite players and teams, as well as playing games using the stats on the backs of the cards.
Then I unfortunately took a 15-year gap from collecting. But I finally returned to the hobby in the 90s (ugh!); plus, I was able to convince my wife, and later our son, to become collectors too!
I enjoy watching all sports and collecting the cards that come with them. Whether it’s at the shop or at a card show, I get satisfaction in seeing a young person’s face light up when they find a card of their favorite player.

Cards After Dark
